Īfter doing this take the Dcdiag again and let us know. īefore doing it take the backup of the registry. If you will change it to 20 in decimal it will be WIN32_SHARE_PROCESS. Look at the right side you will see a Binary value as "Type" its value is set to 10. Go to registry :- HKLM-system-CCS-Services-RpcSs. Yeah no update for me yet the error is still there and Im still the new guy here and I have not been authorized to fix it and since everything still works it may never get fixed. I solved my problem with this command lineĪny update on this case?Don't do what others say - listen to them, but do what you feel good doing.
I had the same problem a long time ago after have deploy my antivirus. And If I ran sc.exe query rpcss on Windows 2008 I got Win32_shared_process and on all Windows 2003 DCs I have Win32_own_process. If I ran dcdiag /e /v /q on Windows 2003 DCs I do not have any error. I have noticed that this is a case only on Windows 2008 DC.
Please post the complete dcdiag /v output from the problem DC and describe some more details about the domain setup, amount of DCs and locations.Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.Ĭheck and post above result and FRS event log for 13000's errors.ĭon't do what others say - listen to them, but do what you feel good doing.Īnybody has an answer to this. I've seen this before and was related with the anti-virus Hope this helps!Ĭan you disable the anti-virus and do another test ? If one is missing it's SYSVOL you will most likely see the problem if you run a dcdiag: Their all joined to a local symantec server.īoth DC's should have their SYSVOL's (replicas).
I have searched for hours and apparently I fail at technet and google so far. WIN32_OWN_PROCESS, expected value WIN32_SHARE_PROCESS Invalid service type: RpcSs on ********, current value I am getting the following error on all 13 of my domain controllers.
